HTC has been on a roll recently. They’ve given us more than a handful of phones in a few months, and they aren’t stopping. The latest in HTC roster has just been announced, and it’s a doozy. The HTC One Max is a monster of a phone, and comes packing a massive Super LCD3 screen that’s all of 5.9 inches large.
It’s the same powerhouse as the HTC One with which it shares its name, also packing a Quad-core, 1.7GHZ Krait 300 processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with Android 4.3 JellyBean out of the box , as well as a massive 3300mAh battery to make sure you have enough juice for that ridonkulous screen.
Again, staying true to the One against which it was patterned, the One Max also has the same Ultrapixel camera that gives superb low-light performance, even with the lower-than-average megapixel count. It’s rounded out with 3G and LTE connectivity.
It might seem like the same old same old, but what sets it apart from the other behemoths out there is the read-mounted fingerprint scanner or added security.
These features are solid, but whether or not this is the device the company needs to make a solid mark after the success of the One will be seen when the device drops in a few weeks.
