The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX55 is supposedly the world’s slimmest camera with optical anti-shake, and at its size, is capable of 1080p HD video recording, 3D and panoramic shooting, has a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, a 3.3” OLED touch-screen control panel, and a bunch of picture effects including HDR Painting, Rich-tone Monochrome, Miniature, Toy Camera, Partial Color, Pop Color and Soft High-key. The camera measures only 13.2 mm thick with a height and width of 54.5 x 92.9 mm. The device has only 3 hardware controls: the on/off switch, the shutter button, and the zoom switch. Everything else is controlled using the touch screen on the back while the front side uses a sliding lens cover, both of which help to make the camera as compact and smooth as possible.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX55 is listed at a price of $350 (approximately Php 14,700) and is available in silver, black, purple, and red. Look out for our full review on this product in our April 2012 issue.
