The Lina Group of Companies (OneLGC) recently held a virtual Town Hall meeting, where they discussed the Investment Agreement between Air21 Holdings Inc. (AHI) and AC Logistics Holdings Corp. The Town Hall had OneLGC founders Alberto and Sylvia Lina, as well as the leadership from both OneLGC and AC Logistics in attendance to give further details about the Investment Agreement and answer any questions.
During the event, Mrs. Lina expressed her gratitude to the OneLGC for trusting Mr. Lina’s leadership and wishes that “tuloy-tuloy niyo pa ang pagtitiwala sa ating Chairman, lalo ngayon na meron na tayong bagong partner na talaga namang mapapagkatiwalaan.”
“Whenever we do things, meron tayong mission — paano tayo makakatulong sa ating bayan,” says Mr. Lina, and to him, this partnership is all part of that mission to help enrich the lives of Filipinos.
Rene Almendras, president of AC Logistics, gave his message where he admits that since 2016 he was hopeful that AIR21 and the Ayala Group would one day become partners. He says that they chose AIR21 because “we did not value the company based on your assets, we valued the company based on the people.”
The event ended with the closing remarks of IWMI president Chito Pacheco, where he wished a “warm welcome to the future” of both companies and that 2022 is “a good year for us to start our new venture.”
The OneLGC is a conglomerate of over 20 affiliates sharing expertise in various industries.
AHI is the Lina’s holding company that consolidates ownership stakes for AIR21, AIR21 Subic, U-Freight, U-Ocean, Cargohaus Inc., LGC Logistics Inc., Waste and Resource Management Inc. (WARM), and Integrated Waste Management Inc. (IWMI).
AC Logistics is Ayala Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary for investments in the logistics sector.
