Yamaha kicks off RevPinas at Udyakan Festival

Yamaha launched RevPinas at the 2017 Udyakan Festival in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental. The event is Yamaha’s nationwide festival tour that embraces the different festivals in the Philippines.

The company set up its own inflated theme park at the Kabankalan Municipal plaza opened by the city’s mayor Isidro Zayco, Yamaha Marketing Section Senior Manager Jude Camus and Isabel Villaceran from DES Marketing. It featured giant slides, fun activities and games, as well as play areas for festival-goers

Yamaha also held a parade around the city which included Yamaha’s lovable Revvy Bear and over 200 riders from different Yamaha Clubs such as M.O.R. Negros, Southern Negros Motorcycle Alliance, and All Mio Club Bacolod.

The event also served as a way for the community to learn more about Yamaha’s different products such as the Mio Aerox, the NMax, the all-new SZ, FZi and TFX 150, and the XTZ 125 Off-Road.

The Pinaka FiesTalentado Contest showcased local talent, all vying for the top prize. Lovella Joy Perez Clavel’s wonderful song performance was enough for her to be proclaimed champion. The dance duo of Violito Pantonilla and Kristine Joy Vinson came in second. Another singer, Steffani Cliff Garcia placed third.

To continue the festivities, local rock and roll icon Bamboo gave an energetic performance to an enthusiastic crowd.

Yamaha’s RevPinas is coming to Baler this August 16 to 19 for the Coconut Festival.
