Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) formally launched its partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in establishing a Technical Vocational Education and Training Center for Motorcycle and Small Engine Servicing last March 7, 2017.

The opening of the training center was formalized with the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement by YMPH president Toru Osugi and TESDA director general secretary Guiling Mamondiong.

The training center in Taguig City aims to educate the out-of-school youth and the marginalized, particularly women. YMPH will provide motorcycles and equipment for the training center to help with their education.

A national certificate will be given to each person who completes the vocational course and will be assisted in becoming Yamaha Service Center trainees.
