Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. just wrapped up the South Luzon edition of its annual Yamaha Sight Safe Run which was held in Naga, Camarines Sur. Facilitated by Adventure Team Pilipinas, the challenge was organized by Motortrade Nationwide Corporation and the Japanese motorcycle brand.
The event tested the Yamaha Sight’s performance as it cruised in a 189-km route that stretched from RevZone Naga to Polangui, then looping back after reaching Legaspi where it yielded an outstanding fuel efficiency record of 147 Km/L. Combining practical design and cutting-edge technology, the Yamaha Sight saved riders time on their trips thanks to its fuel-injected engine and powerful disc brake.
Breaking the previous record, Miguel Ocinar, the youngest rider in the competition, set the bar of the South Luzon chapter with 147 Km/L. Junmark Geronimo placed second and beat his old record in the third leg from 137 Km/L to 141 Km/L. Completing the top three finishers is Andrew Roman who garnered an impressive distance of 140 Km/L.
Watch out for the next Yamaha Sight Safe Run on other regions.
