Tagged as one of the latest trending phone application in US, HQ is a mobile trivia game that enables its users to experience a live game show right into their devices. It is not a surprise to know that the brilliant app comes from the founders of Vine, which combined the concept of popular quiz shows like “Jeopardy!” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” together with the awesome video streaming technology-all in one package!
The game automatically comes to life daily at 9 PM and every weekends at 3 PM for about 13 minutes. Contestants should expect to see a well-dressed host popping up on their screens, who can be either the New York-based comedian Scott Rogowsky or the British personality Sharon Carpenter. There’s also a live text chat that keeps on flowing at the bottom of the screen to keep up its interactive vibe.
What makes this game unique and exciting is the actual pot money that the game offers for its lucky winners who will emerge as the champions for the specific round. This means that the cash prize will be equally distributed to each winners through Paypal.
Each round consists of 12 multiple questions and the participants should give correct answers as fast as they can. Topics may vary from almost anything under the sun so reviewing facts and figures over the Internet is highly recommended! There is totally no room for mistakes here since players are only given 10 seconds to answer. Once the contestant gives the wrong answer, he or she will be out from the competition and will turn into a viewer as the round goes on. Definitely nerve-wracking and addictive, isn’t it?
