It’s finally DevFest season!
Every year, DevFest is being held globally by Google Developer Group (GDG) chapters with a shared goal: to empower developers to teach, learn, and connect. This coming October 17-18 from 1PM to 7PM, GDG Philippines will bring together developers, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and technology experts in one amazing event where there will be acquisition of new knowledge and socialization for opportunities to collaborate. There will be six main tracks for this year: Mobile, Web, General Tech, Cloud, Data Science, and Women in Tech.
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Times like these definitely call for collaboration. We are in a pandemic, yes, but that is not a hindrance from delivering events for the community. Looking at the bright side, going virtual made it possible for the first time to have a unified event making the 13th year of DevFest Philippines a collaborative effort of GDG Manila, GDG Baguio, GDG Cebu, GDG Zamboanga, GDG Cagayan De Oro, and WTM Manila.
See you — virtually!
This year’s virtual DevFest aims to let the audience interact with the speakers, participants and partners through the Slack community. Joining DevFest 2020 is free, just register on bit.ly/GDGPHDevFest2020 until October 16, 2020.
After the opening remarks and keynote talk, there will be parallel sessions: streaming in GDG Philippines’ Facebook+Youtube & GDG Cebu’s Facebook+Youtube. Attendees per talk will not be limited as seat count isn’t a problem now — another virtual event advantage!
