Microsoft last week announced the launch of their very first all-in-one PC, the Surface Studio. Competing with the equally humongous iMac, the Surface Studio boasts a feature that its rival doesn’t yet have: 10 point multi-touch and stylus support for its 28 inch 4500 x 3000 display.

The all-in-one PC from the Redmond company is aimed squarely at the professional and creative market, with the aforementioned display strutting a 10-bit color depth, accurate Surface Pen integration, smarts to distinguish between the Surface Pen and resting hand when sketching, and smooth yet firm tilting with the Zero Gravity Hinge. Moreover, it’s compatible with the brand new Surface Dial, a Bluetooth enabled companion using haptic feedback and knob turns that translate into on-screen actions such as zooming, rotating, and manipulation of content.

Driving the machine is up to an Intel Core i7 processor, up to an Nvidia GTX 980M 4 GB GDDR5 graphics card, up to 32 GB RAM, and up to 2 TB hybrid internal storage—definitely beefy innards perfect for any kind of strenuous workload. It also boasts a TPM Chip and Windows Hello facial recognition sign-in for added enterprise security.

Pricing for the Microsoft Surface Studio starts at USD 2,999 (around PHP 145,000 directly converted) for the base model.
