As early as February, HTC already announced their upcoming Holiday treats for everyone. The Taiwanese tech company revealed they’re focusing to renew their target market through delivering the latest trends.

In an interview on Bloomberg News, HTC Chairwoman Cher Wang stated that they will be releasing a wearable device in time for the holiday shopping season. Then, Wang made a follow-up statement saying,”Many years ago we started looking at smartwatches and wearables, but we believe that we really have to solve the battery problems and the LCD light problems.”

Despite HTC’s 30% drop in sales last year which cost them to lose their shares in LG Electronics Inc. and Lenovo Group Ltd., the company remains “positive and optimistic about 2014 when compared to 2013” according to Chief Financial Officer Chang Chialin.

HTC also confirmed, during the interview, that the company is planning to revamp and release an updated version of the HTC One smartphone to cater more of their current and potential customer’s needs.
