This year’s CES staged the biggest innovations and trends in the tech realm. LG Electronics—Korean tech giant—maintains its lead with the launch of its latest roster of front and top loading washer-dryer pairs and premium kitchen solutions in the world’s largest consumer tech gathering.
Bigger, smarter, faster
LG’s front-liner is a 29-inch front load washing machine. It features the Allergiene Cycle, which uses steam to remove allergens from any fabric. The company’s newest front-loading washing machine can effortlessly wash heavy and bulky fabrics in a single load. This washer is also packed with LG’s innovative technologies, TurboWash and Smart Diagnosis
Furthermore, the “convenience-enhancing” 29-inch front loader washer was named an Honoree in the CES Innovation Awards for its high-efficiency performance.
On the other hand, LG’s 29-inch dryer is the first in the U.S. to offer the energy-efficient Heat Pump drying technology. It reduces energy wastage by recycling generated heat during the drying process. Another pair of 29-inch washer-dryers boasts of near field communications or NFC tagging allows users to download specialized washing cycles on their smartphones and upload it to the appliances.
Also at the CES, LG unveiled its mega capacity 27-inch top loader washer-dryer. This power-washing duo incorporates a new horizontal damping system that allows it to accommodate more laundry than similarly sized models. The dryers are equipped with LG EasyLoad and are compatible with LG’s HomeChat.
