The much-awaited arrival of the PlayStation 4 in Asia is scheduled in mid -December, a little more than a month after its market debut in the US on November 15th.
The announcement was made by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia in a press conference in Tokyo. The Asian countries that are sure to launch the console in mid-December include Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, and other countries in Southeast Asia. Although it has not been confirmed, it is likely that the Philippine launch will take place shortly after the initial Asian launch or in early 2014.
Upon its launch in the region, the PS4 will be available with 20 titles.

According to Sony, peripherals for the PS4, such as the new DualShock 4 controller (available in Magma Red and Wave Blue), the DualShock Charging Station, the PS4 Vertical Stand, and the PlayStation Camera, will also launch in Asia in December.
