Some unsurprising news came out of Samsung’s UK Twitter feed recently – it seems that Galaxy S II owners will be getting a bite out of Google’s delicious Android Ice Cream Sandwich update once the code is ready. The Verge reports that this apparently only applies to UK customers, but it stands to reason that if the folks across the pond get their ICS, we’d be next in line to get it too, right Samsung? No word on when the update will come, but it seems more than likely that it’ll land sometime next year. Meanwhile, there’s still no word if Nexus S owners will get the same courtesy, but if you’re left out of the ICS party, you can always root the thing if you’re a big enough gadget nerd.
