Huawei has just released another device to allow consumers greater choice in the Android arena with the Huawei Y300. The Y300 runs a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor, has a 4-inch screen and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The phone also comes equipped with a 5-MP auto-focus main camera, a .3-MP front-facing camera and proximity and light sensors to make the most of its 1730mAh battery.
“A lot of young consumers have been put off by the entry-level smartphones and its limited features,” said Johnson Ma, Country Manager of Huawei Device Philippines. “By making everything smooth, latest, and power-packed, the Ascend Y300 increases the level of satisfaction felt to an entry-level smartphones. Anyone would be surprised and happy by Huawei Ascend Y300’s solid and premium feel.”
To add to the premium feel of the device, Huawei has given its IPS LCD screen a Gorilla Glass front to ensure abrasion resistance, and their own Emotion UI which allows customization and ease-of-use in a simple interface. The Huawei Y300 is available in black for PHP 5,490.
