Google Glass is amping up its game with the rumors of facial emotion and expression recognition.

According to reports, this support is claimed to be developed by San Diego start-up Emotient. The start-up expressed that its sentient Sentiment Analysis application can identify positive, negative and neutral emotions of anyone in the range of Glass’ field of vision.

It is also rumored to identify deeper emotions such as surprise, joy and disgust. What’s more, the software can also tell if you’re elated, confused or frustrated.

An answer to privacy issues, according to Emotient, none of the data will be stored and will only be used by the wearer in real time.
