Going beyond being just a seasonal motorist assistance activity, in the past 3 years, PETRON Lakbay Alalay has expanded into a four-pronged sustainable program with the following key components: (a) Lakbay Alalay para sa Kaligtasan includes the Free Safety Check, the “Seat Belt Saves Lives” sticker program, safe motoring reminders on the highways, and LPG checks in communities; (b) Lakbay Alalay para sa Kalikasan consists of tree-planting tie-ups with local government units and tollway operators, and trash bin promo giveaways; (c) Lakbay Alalay para sa Kalusugan with a Fun Run, anti-dengue campaign, medical missions, and community clean-ups; and (d) Lakbay Alalay para sa Kaalaman, an information campaign on Project Noah, the government’s flood alert program.
Now in its 28th year, PETRON Lakbay Alalay is a full-blown effort that caters to the needs of every Filipino motorist travelling the roads of life.
