The Hyundai Shell World Rally Team has taken its second podium of its rookie World Rally Championship (WRC) season with Thierry Neuville (#7 Hyundai i20 WRC, co-driver Nicolas Gilsoul) finishing third place in Poland.
In just its seventh WRC event, the rookie team’s hard work has been rewarded with a debut three car finish with Juho Hanninen (#8 Hyundai i20 WRC, co-driver Tomi Tuominen), and Hayden Paddon (#20 Hyundai i20 WRC, co-driver John Kennard), also registering quick stage times during the rally.
The team has shown a competitive pace in this event and has seen all three Hyundai i20 WRC cars and crews demonstrate podium potential with all three Hyundai i20 WRC cars finishing in the top eight overall while the team also added two more stage wins in its debut WRC season.
