Isuzu Cagayan de Oro (CDO) bested 20 other authorized dealerships as Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) named it the 2014 Dealer of the Year. IPC president Nobuo Izumina and executive vice president Takashi Tomita personally presented the award, bringing Isuzu CDO’s title count to six.
Criteria for the award were based on predetermined sales and aftersales metrics, including sales performance, implementation of sales support programs, maintenance of dealership facilities, compliance to parts and service, and database operations parameters.
President and general manager of Isuzu CDO Frank Rolida received the award together with board director Dr. Jerome Young, and assistant general manager and sales manager George Ongchua.
“We are truly honored for the awards we received and for the opportunities that Isuzu Philippines have given us,” Rolida said. “We are very optimistic that 2015 will be another great year for Isuzu’s dealership network,” he added.
Coming in second place was Isuzu Iloilo, and in third was Isuzu Davao.
IPC also gave the dealers special awards, including Best in Sales Operations (Isuzu Davao), Best in Parts Operations (Isuzu Manila), Best in Customer Service (Isuzu Cabanatuan), and Sales Executive of the Year (Ms. Emilia Alfonso of Isuzu Alabang).
Izumina lauded all Isuzu dealerships and encouraged them to raise the bar higher this 2015. “The Dealer of the Year Awards highlighted our dealer network’s consistent compliance of our stringent standards. It also shows their eagerness to support IPC’s efforts in continuously improving dealer operations with the view to serving our customers better,” he expressed.
