If you’re into cars, you’re going to want to keep reading. The JSK Auto Fun Run is aiming to be the single largest convoy of cars ever to be assembled. The annual auto fun run takes off on Saturday, November 14, at the Trinoma parking lot, and will make its way to Fontana Leisure Parks in Clark, Pampanga, where guests will be treated to live bands, entertainment, meals, games and raffles.
Started in 2011, the JSK Auto Fun Run advocates unity and camaraderie among private car owners, and promotes driving safety on Philippine toll ways. This year, the event hopes to score the title of largest convoy for a cause, with a target of 1,500 cars along its route. A portion of the proceeds of this, and succeeding years’ events will go to the Reach Out World Wide Foundation, the same one supported by the late actor Paul Walker. Part of the event will include cars modified as tribute to Walker’s movie franchise, The Fast and the Furious.
Along with the numerous raffles promised by the (very) many sponsors, BYD, the Chinese auto manufacturer, also promised to reward one of the participants with a brand new F0, their multi-awarded, extremely fuel-efficient subcompact.
