The upcoming 2013 Isuzu Truck Fest is scheduled to provide the public unique transportation solutions on its staging from 20-22 June at Le Pavillion, Metrobank Avenue, Pasay City.
The highlight of the show will be the launch of Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s (IPC) new Isuzu Forward FRR and FVM medium-duty trucks that have been fitted with various body configurations, emphasising their potential in numerous business and service applications
The Forward FRR is powered by a 4HK1-TCS 5.2-litre, turbocharged, intercooled, Euro II-compliant diesel engine with common rail direct injection fuel system. It delivers a maximum power of 210ps @ 2,600rpm and a maximum torque of 637Nm @ 1,600rpm, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The FRR has a gross vehicle weight of 10,600 kilograms and a payload capacity of 7,450 kilograms.
The Forward FVM, on the other hand, is powered by a 6HK1-TCN 7.8-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged, intercooled, Euro II-compliant diesel engine that is combined with a six-speed transmission. With common rail direct injection, it delivers a maximum power of 240ps @ 2,400rpm and a maximum torque of 706Nm @ 1,450rpm. The FVM has a gross vehicle weight of 25,000 kilograms and a payload capacity of 18,380 kilograms.
Both the Forward FRR and FVM are backed by a two-year or 50,000-kilometre warranty, whichever comes first.
Another highlight at IPC’s Truck Fest will be the various seminars designed for the show’s visitors, including a presentation on Conversion Safety Tips regarding Truck Body Applications, talks on Philippine Road Regulations and Restrictions governing trucks, and a discussion on Direct Injection Diesel Technology.
There will be a special offer to those customers who will purchase any truck variant from June 20 up to July 31, 2013⎯a free LTO registration and P20,000 worth of Caltex fuel cards.
This edition of the Isuzu Truck Fest will also see the launch of the partnership between IPC and Orix Rental Corporation (ORC). ORC has been providing customers around the Philippines rental cars delivered right at their doorsteps at any time they prefer.

The 2013 Isuzu Truck Fest will be open to the public starting at 1 p.m. on 20 June and 10:00 a.m. on 21-22 June. There will be a shuttle service available for show goers from SM Mall of Asia to Le Pavillon. Raffle draws will be held every hour where lucky visitors get to take home special prizes.
