The latest version of the Ranger Raptor is pure power and performance with a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost engine that produces 397PS max power and 583Nm max torque mated to a performance-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission with an anti-lag system available in Baja mode intended for off-road use only. The anti-lag system is designed to keep the turbos spinning for up to three seconds allowing for faster resumption? of acceleration out of corners or between gears when the driver gets back on the accelerator.
The 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo EcoBoost engine boasts a compacted graphite-iron cylinder block, which is around 75 percent stronger and up to 75 percent stiffer than the iron used in traditional castings. Ford Performance ensured the engine delivers immediate response to throttle inputs, and a race-bred anti-lag system enables rapid delivery of boost on demand.
The 3.0L V6 brings a different dynamic to the Ranger Raptor that will satisfy even the most hardcore performance enthusiast. The acceleration and raw performance of the new powertrain will leave enthusiasts grinning from ear-to-ear.
The Raptor’s new engine delivers effortless acceleration on gravel, dirt, mud, and sand. With an electronically-controlled active exhaust system that amplifies the exhaust note in four selectable modes (Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja), the Raptor’s vocal character ranges from mild to wild.

The Ranger Raptor’s MyMode “R” button allows drivers to personalize everything from steering to suspension, exhaust mode, or engine auto stop/start activation through to the four-wheel drive mode and even whether the rear electronic differential should be on or off. Drivers can choose their preferred engine exhaust sound, steering feel, and suspension damping by pressing a button on the steering wheel or by selecting a drive mode that uses one of the following settings:

Hardware for the Heavy Hitters
A high-performance off-roader like the Ranger Raptor needs the running gear to match. The tough, lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms, long travel front and rear suspension and refined Watt’s link rear end have been designed to deliver more control across rough terrain at high speed.
The suspension upgrades in the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 make the most of the new FOX Live Valve dampers. The suspension adapts in real time to enable exceptional on-road body control while absorbing corrugations and bigger ruts off-road with ease ensuring maximum control and performance.
Soaking up those humps and bumps FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shock absorbers with cutting-edge control technology offering position-sensitive damping capability. These shock absorbers are the most sophisticated ever on Ranger Raptor and are filled with Teflon™-infused oil that reduces friction by around 50 percent compared to those on the old generation Raptor.
While the hardware is FOX, the tuning and development work was carried out by Ford Performance using a mixture of computer-aided engineering (CAE) and real-world testing. Everything from adjusting the spring rates to setting the ride height, valve tuning and honing the ride zones was performed to create the perfect balance between comfort, control, stability and traction on- and off-road.
Linked to Ranger Raptor’s revised selectable drive modes, the Live Valve Internal Bypass system has been developed to provide better on-road comfort and off-road ride quality both at high and low speed.
In addition to working with the drive modes, the system works in the background to prepare the Ranger Raptor for different conditions. As the shocks compress, different zones within the bypass system give exactly the amount of support needed for the travel being used and work in reverse as the shocks rebound back to full height.
All Terrain Control
For the first time, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 gets an advanced permanent four-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, combined with front and rear locking differentials, a feature that hardcore off-roaders will appreciate.
Helping the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 handle anything from smooth roads to mud and ruts and everything in between are up to seven selectable drive modes, including the off-road oriented ‘Baja’ mode for extreme high-speed off-roading.
Each selectable drive mode adjusts a number of elements from engine and transmission to ABS sensitivity and calibration, traction and stability controls, exhaust valve actuation, steering, throttle response and even the instrument cluster and center touchscreen. And depending on the mode, the color scheme of the digital displays changes to match the mode.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation premiered the Mitsubishi DST Concept, a 7-seater SUV concept car, at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show, held on October 24 to 27, 2024, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
Mitsubishi Motors offers fulfilling mobility lifestyles that awaken the adventurous spirit of drivers and provide excitement for everyone on board. Adding to the current lineup in the ASEAN region — which includes the Pajero Sport (also sold as Montero Sport) midsize SUV, the Xforce (also sold as Outlander Sport) compact SUV, and the Xpander and Xpander Cross crossover MPVs — the Mitsubishi DST Concept is the brand’s all-new monocoque SUV that offers three-row seating for customers seeking a full seven-seater with comfort for everyone aboard.

Refined, authentic SUV design
The design concept for the Mitsubishi DST is “Gravitas & Dynamism.” Gravitas, which conjures overwhelming presence and solidity, is expressed in proportions that combine the roomy cabin offering space ample even for the third row of seats, with the solid stability and wide stance of an SUV. Its sleek, strong nose also give it a commanding aura. The roominess of the cabin space has been accentuated by blacking out all the pillars and enveloping the cabin with smooth wraparound windows, while the rich surface on the rear further emphasizes its formidable presence.
Dynamism represents a design bursting with energy and motion, expressed through its large-diameter tires and high ground clearance, which offer a high level of maneuverability and capability as an SUV. Its sculpted front and rear fender flares, leaning over the tires like the muscles of a well-trained athlete, foreshadow the toughness and powerful road handling of an SUV. Further, the side protectors and large skid plates in the front and rear express a sense of protectiveness and robustness.
The imprint of Mitsubishi’s iconic design is evident all over the exterior. On the front side, the Dynamic Shield design concept expresses both powerful performance and protection. The front grille, which features a three-dimensional design with a honeycomb-shaped inner grille under a transparent outer cover, is integrated with left and right bumpers that protect it, creating a cutting-edge, premium and commanding look.
The front daytime running lights and rear tail lights are LEDs that light up in a T-shape, accenting the wide stance. On the body side, horizontal bars are carved into the C-pillar for a distinctive, robust design.

The interior features the Mitsubishi DST is a spacious, classy cabin space for everyone aboard to ride comfortably. The instrument panel is wrapped in soft, upscale material that exude a premium feel, connecting with the door trim in a dynamic shape creating a sense of vast openness. Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) opened its exhibit at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) with the theme of Sporty DNA: Redefined. The event also serves as the official launch of the New Civic, now available with the RS e:HEV variant.
The New Civic was previewed at the Transform the Future – One Honda Electrification event held last September 2024, where HCPI and Honda Philippines, Inc. New Civic
The 9th PIMS served as the official launch of the New Honda Civic, which now joins the CR-V as part of Honda’s full hybrid lineup with the addition of the RS e:HEV variant. This rings in a new chapter for HCPI as it brings in more e:HEV models to the Philippines.
HCPI aims to redefine ‘Sporty DNA’ through the electrification of this iconic and timeless nameplate. It now comes in a sportier design and a more fun-to-drive experience, thanks to Honda’s e:HEV full hybrid system. Honda SENSING on the New Civic has been updated with a wider camera, while Honda CONNECT gets a refresh too with additional features.
The New Civic comes with new features such as parking sensors, Type C USB ports, and a new 9” Audio Display unit across all variants (whereas the previous model only had this available on RS variants). This is also the first model from HCPI that is equipped with Google Built-in. Users can now interact and control their car with voice commands for navigation, car operations, and install a wide variety of third-party apps.
