Smart prepaid subscribers can now watch their favorite Hollywood movies and TV series right from the comfort of their smartphones as the telco introduces the Blink movie and TV app. This newest offer from Smart and Solar Entertainment Corporation brings plenty of hit titles and episodes straight to your phone via WiFi or mobile data connection.
“All you need to do now is have a prepaid account, load up like you would normally load for call, texts and data and then unlock all of Blink’s contents ranging from past and recent blockbuster movies to reruns and the newest TV series. All of these entertainment guilty pleasures are now available with just a few taps on your smartphones,” announced head of Smart prepaid Joel Lumanlan.
According to Blink COO Ronan de Guzman, “We are pleased to have an exclusive telco partnership with Smart, which makes Blink services accessible to millions of Filipinos. This development definitely leads people to live more by enjoying movies and TV shows simply by using only their mobile phone load.”
De Guzman clarified that “Blink is not here to change TV but to complement viewers’ choices. There are times when we want to enjoy cinema while lounging in the house, and there are also times when we lack access to entertainment from reliable sources. Blink looks at these various entertainment opportunities given the demands of the evolving online culture.”
Additionally, Solar Entertainment channels like ETC, 2nd Avenue, Jack City, and Basketball TV can also be viewed through Blink.
Android and iOS users can download Blink via their respective app stores. It can also be accessed through http://www.blink-now.com/. Each title watched costs PHP 60, a PHP 250 fee entitles you to unlimited TV series views, and live streaming is free of charge. Movies expire 48 hours after they are first viewed, while TV shows can be watched without limit for 30 days.
