Hyundai announced two new models available to the Philippine Market, the Genesis G90 and the Creta, at the 2017 Manila International Autoshow in Pasay.
The Hyundai Creta, hailed as the “best-selling SUV of 2016” in other countries and “2016 Indian Car of the Year,” has a 1.6 CRDi VGT engine on a six-speed automatic transmission. The five-seater has better passenger space and increased leg room with premium black fabric seats with red inserts and stitching.
The flagship of Genesis Motors, the G90 is a luxury midsize vehicle boasts of either a 3.3-liter or a 5.0-liter engine, both having all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive options. The 3.3-liter engine variant is a DOHC 24-valve V6 Twin Turbo and features dual continuously variable valve timing (D-CVVT) valve train and a variable induction intake system. It maxes horsepower at 365 at 6,000 rpm and torque at 510 Nm at 1,300 to 4,500 rpm.
Features include ventilated nappa leather seats, a Lexicon 17-speaker 7.1 discrete surround-sound audio system, a 12.3-inch HD navigation system, and rear seat illuminated vanity mirrors.
Hyundai also unveiled the H350 at its MIAS booth. It belongs to the company’s lineup of commercial vehicles. It can be configured into a cargo van, a passenger van, or a flatbed truck. The H350 has a spacious cabin with clear visibility, and car-like comfort features.
