Acer, a global leader in the consumer pc market, has just launched the Iconia W3, Windows 8 tablet that gives users the full Windows experience with the convenience and portability of a tablet.
The Acer Iconia W3 gives users a roomy 8-inch display for viewing pictures, videos and browsing the Internet, as well as a handy size for creating content, even while on the road. The world’s first 8-inch Windows tablet comes with an Intel Atom Z2760 1.5GHz processor that can jump up to 1.8GHz thanks to Intel Burst technology and 1066MHz DDR3 memory. The Iconia W3 comes in a small, light package that fits easily in a bag, allowing you to take it, and be productive everywhere. The tablet has a 1280 x 800 WXGA screen with 5-touch input capability, and Acer’s 1920 x 1080 Crystal Eye webcam. It comes with a Lithium-Ion battery that can keep you going for up to eight hours, as well as an optional full-sized Bluetooth keyboard for keeping up with deadlines, projects and productivity, even when you’re away from your desk. When you’re back at the desk, plug in a larger screen via the Mini-HDMI port, and you’re golden.
The newest to the Iconia tablet line comes bundled with Windows 8, giving users access to all the applications, services and programs that are widely used in homes and offices worldwide. Microsoft’s Windows Office Home and Student 2013 bundle makes for the perfect device for students, busy professionals and those who want the ease of a tablet, with the content creating power of a laptop.
