Employees from TP (formerly Teleperformance) volunteered in a coastal cleanup at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park as part of Sustainable Shores World Cleanup Day, an environmental initiative aimed at reducing marine pollution and supporting coastal conservation.

THE CLEANUP

Employee-volunteers from TP’s EDSA, McKinley, Sucat, and Molino sites, along with volunteers from other participating companies, collected over 488 kilograms of solid waste at the coastal site. Together they contributed almost 200 volunteer hours to the activity.

The cleanup was organized by TP’s Citizen of the World (COTW) foundation in partnership with CORA Philippines and the France-Philippines United Action Foundation (FPUA).

PART OF TP’S SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS

The initiative is part of TP’s broader sustainability efforts in the Philippines, which include programs focused on environmental stewardship, responsible resource use, and climate action.

Through Sustainable Shores, TP took part in a collective initiative that mobilizes communities, volunteers, and corporate partners to address water pollution through coastal and waterway cleanups. The effort is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 on clean water and sanitation, SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production, and SDG 13 on climate action.
