    One of the two old-school cars shipped from Japan that were on display side-by-side with their current models.

    To celebrate their 50th year in the Philippines, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) held a huge party on February 18, 2013, at the newly opened Fairmont Hotel in Makati City. Present at the celebration were top officials from government, the automobile industry, suppliers, supporters, and friends of MMPC. Sister company Asian Transmission Corporation (ATC) is also celebrating their 40th year  in manufacturing transmission assemblies.

    First incorporated as Chrysler Philippines Corporation in February of 1963, the company has gone through several name changes until it finally became Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation in August of 1996. After 50 years of manufacturing, marketing and selling vehicles in our country, Mitsubishi’s current product line up includes something for everyone —  the Mirage, Lancer EX, Lancer EX Ralliart, Lancer Evolution X, Adventure, Fuzion, ASX, Montero Sport, Pajero, Strada, L200, L300, FUSO Canter. FUSO FM Trucks and the FUSO Rosa.
