WD is celebrating the 10th annum of its incredibly popular and award-winning line of portable hard drives (HD), the My Passports, by releasing two special commemorative editions: The My Passport Ultra-Metal and My Passport Ultra-Anniversary editions. These two portable HDs sport sleek, new designs on the outside and revamped technologies inside to carry on WD’s legacy of producing reliable and innovative storage solutions.MPP Ultra MEtal Ann PRN

The Metal and Anniversary editions are clad in an aluminum enclosure patterned with a radial spin that makes them both eye-candy and life-resistant. For the added peace of mind of the on-the-go consumer, the drives have hardware encryption and password protection for data security against unauthorized use and theft. They also support WD’s SmartWare Pro software that enables users to easily sync files between their drive and Dropbox account.
