Lynk & Co is integrating its business operations in the Philippines into the operating system of Geely Motor Philippines as part of Geely’s broader “One Geely” strategy.
The realignment is intended to give Lynk & Co greater access to Geely Motor Philippines’ local operational resources and market infrastructure, supporting faster product introductions, broader market expansion, and the development of its sales and service network.
Building on Lynk & Co’s Philippine presence
Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2016, Lynk & Co entered the Philippine market in March 2024 with a lineup positioned around premium mobility, design, and technology.
With the operational integration, Lynk & Co will make greater use of Geely Motor Philippines’ local capabilities as it expands its presence in the country. The company says the move is expected to provide a stronger foundation for the brand’s long-term development in the Philippine market.
“We sincerely appreciate United Asia Automotive Group Inc. for their continuous support and contributions to Lynk & Co’s growth in the Philippines,” said Ye Qin, general manager of the ASEAN RHD Business Unit at Geely Auto International Corporation.
“Since Lynk & Co entered the Philippine market, UAAGI has actively driven the brand’s local market development, laying a foundation for expanding our presence and serving local consumers,” Qin said. He added that Geely plans to continue investing in the Philippine market while expanding the Lynk & Co product lineup and improving its sales and service infrastructure.
Lynk & Co 900 coming in fourth quarter
The operational shift will also coincide with what Lynk & Co describes as a brand refresh in the Philippines beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026.
A new generation of premium products is expected to be introduced under the Geely Motor Philippines operating framework, led by the Lynk & Co 900. The full-size SUV is positioned for the premium plug-in hybrid electric vehicle segment and is scheduled to make its Philippine debut in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Lynk & Co describes the 900 as its flagship SUV, emphasizing space, comfort, safety, and smart features for premium family travel. Detailed specifications, local variants, pricing, and final launch arrangements have not yet been announced.
Geely strengthens its local brand portfolio
The integration places Lynk & Co more directly within Geely Motor Philippines’ local operating structure, alongside the broader Geely group portfolio.
Geely Motor Philippines began operations in February 2025 as the local subsidiary of Geely Holding Group. The company is expected to use its existing infrastructure and resources to support Lynk & Co’s product rollout, dealer development, and after-sales operations in the country.
In Summary
Lynk & Co is integrating its Philippine operations into Geely Motor Philippines under the “One Geely” strategy to strengthen local sales, service, and product development. The Lynk & Co 900 flagship full-size PHEV SUV is scheduled to debut locally in the fourth quarter of 2026, although detailed specifications, pricing, and launch arrangements have yet to be announced.
