Yesterday, January 28, saw Elecom Japan launching its latest store in the country. Located at the fourth floor of SM North EDSA Annex, the store will showcase a wide variety of products, accessories, and peripherals from the Japanese electronics company.
Elecom, though mostly known for their accessories and peripherals, had other wares on display at their SM North EDSA hub. Included are headphones, earphones, portable speakers, USB cables, portable chargers, smartphone and tablet cases, smartphone and tablet protective films, tablet and smartphone stands, a great range of PC accessories, Bluetooth keyboards, laptop bags and sleeves, camera accessories, card readers, SD memory cards and cases, cleaning items for gadgets, network routers, USB hubs, styli, as well as other items like Blue Light Glasses and the brand’s ELECOOK line., all with a modern design promising value for money.
Junji Hada, president of Elecom, along with other company executives promise a complete shopping experience with their Philippine stores. “We have demo products that they could test before deciding on what to buy. They can test our cases to get a better feel; use the earphones; the speakers, everything. Day by day, we’re expanding our product line—all bearing the best quality Japan has been known for. We have strong quality control over our diverse products. Strong after-sales support is also a guarantee.”
Elecom currently has four stores and one kiosk in Metro Manila, with the first unveiled last September 2014. The hubs are located at: 4th level Cyberzone, The Annex, SM City North EDSA; 3rd level, Cyberzone, SM Fairview; 3rd level, Cyberzone, SM Southmall; Ground floor, Cyberzone, SM Marikina; and the kiosk at 3rd level, Cyberzone, SM Sta. Mesa.
United Limsun, the local distributor of Elecom products, is planning to open more stores nationwide, with 15 stores planned just for 2015, and an additional nine by 2017.
