Bangkok, Thailand — Ford Group Philippines brought 20 motoring and tech scribes to witness the ASEAN media unveiling of the All-new Ford Focus at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, a day before the general press launch at the 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show. The All-new Ford Focus, which will be available in the Philippines in the second half of 2012, is expected to set the new standard in the region. With an unmatched combination of smart technologies, outstanding fuel economy, expressive design, responsive performance and high levels of craftsmanship and occupant safety, normally only found in mid to high end vehicles.

For the second year in a row, the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show is being held at the Challenger Hall 1 to 3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Divided into five sections namely motor vehicles, converted cars, motorcycles, accessories and miscellaneous products and services, and auto tuners, the show literally has something for every demographic. With 130 exhibitors from about 11 different countries sharing the net surface area of 167,160m2 — you can bet it’s one gigantic show.

Proving to be an important milestone after last year’s devastating tsunami in Japan and horrendous floods in Thailand, the latest iteration of the Bangkok International Motor Show only proves that the Thai automotive industry is back on track.

The 33rd Bangkok International Motorshow opened to the public on March 28, 2012 and will last until April 8.
