Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. announced the arrival of the Yamaha Sight in the Philippines. An expression of simplicity and efficiency, the Sight vividly mirrors the brand’s vision for the industry.

The motorcycle runs on a 114 cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, two-valve, SOHC engine with Yamaha’s fuel injection technology that improves acceleration and overall performance. This translates to 6.4 kW of power at 7000 rpm and 9.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a four-speed, constant mesh transmission and a 4-liter fuel tank.

The Sight sports telescopic suspension for the front wheel and swingarm suspension for the rear. The brake set-up is a combination of a hydraulic single-disc front brake and a mechanical leading trailing drum rear brake.

Apart from this, the Yamaha Sight features a sharp headlight that is equipped with a bright incandescent bulb for a clear view of the road while a sporty tail light glows bright from behind. It also has a 9-liter compartment for tools and other travel essentials.

The motorcycle has anti-theft technology built into the key shutter which ensures that the motorcycle can only be started by the key-holder.

The Yamaha Sight is available in spoke wheel and cast wheel versions at all Yamaha 3S Shops and multi-brand stores nationwide. The spoke wheel costs PHP 59,000 and is available in Black Raven and Red Metallic colors, while the cast wheel version costs PHP 62,900 and is available in Yellow Hornet and Black Raven colors.
