Well, isn’t that something. Samsung has already announced that their flagship device, the Galaxy S II will be getting an Ice Cream Sandwich update soon, but “soon” wasn’t early enough for some people. Technobolt has reported that an intrepid modder by the name of @xplodwild has beaten the Korean company to it and has successfully ported ICS to his Galaxy S II. While it seems that he got ICS to work, you do need to take note that the whole thing is in alpha stages still, meaning there’s still some things that doesn’t work (like the audio and modem). If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try to do the same thing on your Galaxy S II, though don’t blame us if something bad happens to it.
